It took AXA more than two years to deliver a document I requested for, and I needed to raise several tickets in between. Also uploading my health insurance related bills requires way too often sending reminders and they are rather frequently incorrectly paid not to the full amount. From the bottom line point of view of AXA I of course understand it for maximizing profits, but it does not give a good picture as a responsible corporation. Also declining a health insurance for my wife who was medically proven 100% healthy gives a picture of an opportunistic company culture, if not even implying non-adherence to legal obligations. It is difficult to imagine a single reason to recommend Axa to anyone else.
